Kinesthetic Awareness in Yoga

Kinesiology is the study of movement. The body is fascinating! As yoga practitioners, the more we understand about the structure and biomechanics of the body, the more safely and effectively we can approach the challenges of asana. Learn to approach your asana and your body from a form-follows-function stand point, allowing for difference in structure, experience, and ability. Asana is less about what it looks like and more about the actions involved. In this workshop, learn the basics of body structures and their functionality and how to apply that knowledge to asana.  This is an excellent workshop for RYT’s and CEUs will be provided!
